Govan is at a turning point. With support from Glasgow City Council, local housing associations, and the University of Glasgow’s GRID program, the Govan Housing Study explores how strategic housing and infrastructure investments can revitalise the area. The study identifies opportunities to address Govan’s unique housing needs—offering options for social, mid-market, and student housing—while enhancing connections to the rest of the city. By combining Govan’s rich heritage with forward-looking development, the project aims to transform Govan into a thriving community for residents and businesses alike.
