Published: 24 October 2022
Commentary, Policy briefing, Research insight
A strategy to support and strengthen the media in Scotland and the redesign of city centres to meet net zero climate targets.
Kezia Dugdale and Professor Graeme Roy talk to Dr Hayes Mabweazara, Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Glasgow, and one of a team of researchers investigating the health of Scotland’s media. Here, he discusses the findings of their recently published report 'Scotland’s Sustainable Media Future: Challenges and Opportunities'.
They also speak to Dr Andrew Hoolachan, Lecturer in Planning at the University of Glasgow. Dr Hoolachan reflects on how we might redesign our city centres including Glasgow, if we are to meet net zero climate targets, and what the potential implications might be for the economy and day-to-day life.
