Christopher Newport University, USA
Christopher Newport University is a Public Liberal Arts University in the United States. Founded in 1960, it is the youngest university in the commonwealth of Virginia but has been ranked among the top public Universities in the US South. The campus itself is known as one of the most historic and beautiful places in America, providing a very welcoming atmosphere for its approximately 5000 students.
Newport News, located in the south-eastern end of the Virginia Peninsula, is home to a population of 180 000. The area is known for its fair weather, with cool to mild winters and hot summers. With an elaborate transportation network, which includes close proximity to three international airports, the relatively small city is well-connected, which contributes to its appeal.
