IISER Pune (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune) is a research-oriented teaching university which focusses on the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Climate Science, Mathematics and Physics. Since its creation, the University has published over 900 research papers in reputable national and international journals.

Pune, based in the Indian state of Maharashtra and known as the state’s cultural capital, is the ninth most populous city in the country.
