Mahidol University, Thailand
Mahidol University is a prestigious multidisciplinary institution that originates in the establishment of Siriraj Hospital in 1888. It became the University of Medical Science in 1943 and was renamed in 1969 by H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej after his father, Prince Mahidol of Songkla.
The University is one of three campuses located in Phutthamonthon which is a district in the east of Nakhon Pathom Province, central Thailand. The district was named after and is made distinctive by Phutthamonthon park which is a 40 ha Buddhist park.
Programme partner
College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS) joint PhD programme with the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital at Mahidol University, supported by joint supervisory teams at both institutes, with students obtaining a single joint degree but graduating at both institutions.
