National University of Ireland (NUI Galway) is  the largest and oldest university in the west of Ireland and consistently ranked among the top 2% of universities in the world. NUI Galway is Irelands's top University for graduate employability with 96% of  graduates employed or in further study within six months of graduating.

Galway lies on the river Corrib in the west of Ireland, the fourth most populous area in the republic of Ireland. Galway has a vibrant music scene, particularly for traditional Irish music. Described as arty and bohemian, Galway is full of pubs and cafés and features a vibrant nightlife due to a quarter of its population being students. Galway is often referred to as the ‘most Irish city’ in Ireland.
