University of Seville, Spain
Founded in 1505, the University of Seville is the second largest university in Spain with over 70,000 students. Located in the south of the country, in under two hours you can be at the beach or the ski slopes using the country’s well equipped rail or road network. Integrated into the city, the campus consists of 30 centres, 120 departments and 80,000 m2 of sports facilities, allowing students to experience the cultural richness of Seville.
As the capital of Andalusia and the birthplace of flamenco, Seville is a multicultural and welcoming city known worldwide for its dynamic culture, varied gastronomy and friendly people. The University contributes to this artistic heritage, owning an extensive collection of monumental works and hosting the Centre of Cultural Initiatives, which hosts many collaborative performances and exhibitions.
