Transnational Education (TNE)

Transnational education (TNE), as defined at University of Glasgow (UofG), is the mode of teaching delivery by which students around the world are given the opportunity to study in their own country for a University of Glasgow degree. Currently numbering 10% of our total student population, TNE students are a valuable part of our international UofG community.

Since 2011, UofG has been engaged with TNE delivery. We are proud of our three successful TNE partnerships, offering a range of programmes to students in China and Singapore at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Our TNE partnerships are:

Our TNE programmes

Our students can study degrees in a diverse range of subject areas in which the University of Glasgow is world-leading, including:

The arrangement that UofG has with each partner is tailored to combine the very best of the two university systems, with students benefitting from the research and teaching of leading academics and dedicated professional support from both institutions.
