Engagement opportunity in Africa
The University of Glasgow is delighted to open a call for proposals to support our collaborative work on the African continent. We would like to engage a valued partner who will put forward a senior academic representative to take on certain activities on our behalf within the region and further our strategic aims across Africa.
Our vision is that, in partnership with a Higher Education Institution in Africa, we will work towards delivering our Global Glasgow 2025 strategy in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The priorities include, but are not limited to, developing collaborative research, building learning and teaching opportunities, undertaking capacity strengthening activities and facilitating the exchange of professional best practice.
We are looking for a partner who can identify an individual to act on our behalf through regional travel, arranging meetings, hosting events and working with colleagues in Glasgow to deliver exciting activity in the region. This undertaking is pivotal to Glasgow’s partnership development across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity for us to work collaboratively with a partner institution within an innovative arrangement. We invite our African partners who are interested in this opportunity to submit a note of interest.
