Joining forces to fight malaria
Research collaborations with our global partners are at the heart of the world-changing research we undertake at Glasgow.
Following on from World Mosquito Day in August, we’re proud to share with you our collaborative work with research partners throughout the world to understand, treat and prevent malaria.
World Mosquito Day was established in 1897, when the link between mosquitoes and malaria was discovered by Sir Ronald Ross. It aims to raise awareness about causes and prevention. It is also a salute to the groundbreaking work of Sir Ross and scientists who have followed him.
