The 2017 National Quantum Technologies Showcase will be taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre in London on Wed 22 November and QuantIC will be exhibiting some of its latest technologies which have not been seen in public before. This includes a demonstrator which only needs a single photon to image in high resolution 3D in highly scattering water and an exhibit which will demonstrate ultra-low light navigation and communications for inter-satellite networks. There will also be exhibits featuring the Hub’s industrial projects with partners such as Horiba, Thales, QinetiQ and Lockheed Martin.
The annual event, which has been running since 2015, highlights the technological progress of the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme which aims to position the UK as a world-leader in the emerging multi-billion pound quantum technology market and the benefits it will bring to UK industry. More than 50 exhibits will be on display this year at this free industry event.
