Glass graphics in the ARC
Sarah Cook, Professor of Museum Studies and ARC theme lead for Creative Economies and Cultural Transformation, discusses the concept behind the designs of the glass graphics within the ARC building.
Unique to Glasgow
Focusing on four elements from our marque – the bird, the tree, the bell and the fish - the designs relate the four elements to collaborative research. Creating a design which is unique to the ARC and the University of Glasgow.
Our boardroom graphics take inspiration from the topography of the source of the river Clyde. Reinforcing our connection to the city and beyond.

The tree that never grew

The bird that never flew

The fish that never swam

The bell that never rang

Glasgow made the Clyde and the Clyde made Glasgow
