ARC MakerSpace
Come Make a Thing... And Build Yourself...
Join our Maker Movement in the ARC MakerSpace
Located on Level 2 of the ARC, by the main door off St Mungo Square, the MakerSpace is a friendly, creative environment which is as much about the experience people have as what they make. It’s a place to meet new colleagues, develop new skills, co-create and transform ideas into practical products.
Access to the MakerSpace facilities and events is FREE for the University community. There are two main ways to access the space.
1. Pre-booked Access (currently available to all University staff and post-graduate researchers)
Pre-booked access to use specific equipment for a set time is currently open to all University staff and our post-graduate researcher community. To express interest and book an induction please email arc-makerspace@glasgow.ac.uk.
2. MakerSpace Events
Our scheduled workshops, events and training programmes are open to all University staff and students. Check out our upcoming event series below.

- Making with Pride (launching Wed 10 July) - coinciding with Glasgow Pride month, this informal series uses different forms of making as a backdrop to discuss and celebrate LGBTQ+ history and support the diversity within our University community.
