Nematode System Health Conference, Monday 5th May & Tuesday 6th May 2014
Overview
This two day conference comprised talks on immunity to infection, genetic variation in resistance to infection, the parasite response to host selection, mathematical models of nematode infection, genes involved in resistance to infection and the influence of social interactions on resistance to infection.
This is an EU Marie Curie FP7 funded event.
Guest Speakers
- A. Prof. David Groth is an expert in MHC and its role in resistance to Parasitic Infection. He is based at the Curtin University Institute of Technology, Western Australia.
- Prof. Herman Raadsma is a Quantitative Geneticist with a strong interest in immune response and parasite infections.
- A. Prof. Magnolia Conde de Felipe – University de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
