Learning and services

The Centre for Public Policy offers a growing range of programmes for policymakers and practitioners at all stages of their careers.
Whether you’re shaping policy in government or building experience in the third sector, our services are designed to support learning, collaboration and real-world impact.
Education and professional development
The Centre provides bespoke training programmes for a broad range of partners, including local and national government and the third sector on various policy challenges.
This is coordinated in partnership with the University’s College of Social Sciences Executive Education team. Find out more about current programmes and what the Centre and College can offer:
Policy Schools
One of the Centre's key activities are what we call Policy Schools. These are bespoke professional development programmes co-designed and co-delivered with key policy partners.
The global challenges facing all governments, from fiscal sustainability to artificial intelligence, have only enhanced the need for practice-focused, research-informed and impactful education.
So far, we have delivered pilot schools with the UK Cabinet Office and the Scottish Government.
