Sonopill Hosts First Future of Capsule Endoscopy Workshop

In March the Sonopill team organised the first Future of Capsule Endoscopy workshop in the Royal Scots Club, Edinburgh.
In March the Sonopill team organised the first Future of Capsule Endoscopy workshop in the Royal Scots Club, Edinburgh with support from the Impact Acceleration Account at Heriot Watt University. Professor Paul Swain, a pioneer in the field of capsule endoscopy, gave the keynote speech and was given a quaich to thank him for his contribution to this area of medicine.
Drawing on the expertise of an international committee, the workshop covered three themes; Positioning & Localisation, Medical Uses, and Sensing & Actuators, with speakers from across Europe, the US and beyond.
