Sadeque Khan received his BSc degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh in 2010. His final year project topic was ‘Design and Implementation of Intelligent Ventilation System for GSM BTS Rooms’. From 2010 to 2012 he worked as a project manager and system designer for multiple companies (nGen Electronics Ltd., Swiftex Solution, and Kaji Tech BD) in Bangladesh where his major responsibility was to design and manufacture the embedded control systems for GSM BTS rooms. He also worked as a lecturer in Prime University and Varendra University of Bangladesh during 2012 and 2014, respectively. He completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in VLSI design from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, India under the Indian government scholarship in 2014. His M.Tech thesis topic was ‘A Low Power Biomedical Data Acquisition System Design for Implantable Devices’.  From 2015 to 2016 he worked as a researcher at Chosun University, South Korea where he worked on multiple projects including wireless power transfer and power management unit for biomedical implantable devices.   

Sadeque Khan started work on his PhD degree at Heriot-Watt University in February 2017 as part of the Sonopill project. He is working towards the optimization and implementation of wireless power transfer unit to be integrated on Sonopill capsule. Sadeque Khan’s PhD is supervised by Professor Marc Desmulliez with Dr Paul Melville Record as second supervisor from Heriot-Watt University.
