University of Edinburgh and University of Glasgow Jointly Funded PhD Studentships

The University of Edinburgh/University of Glasgow Joint PhD Studentship is currently on hold and is not recruiting students for 2022-23. Updates will be posted on this webpage.
The scholarships that are funded under this scheme generally include students co-supervised by both institutions who will receive a degree from the institution where their lead supervisor is based.
Each student spends up to 12 months carrying out a minimum of 2 taster projects (usually one at each university) before selecting their main PhD project. The students are expected to participate in a symposium during their first year.
