Accounting in Europe and British Accounting Review, in partnership with the International Accounting Standards Board, invited submissions of papers on diverse aspects of disclosure and drawing on diverse research methods and approaches.

The Observatory, with the support of the Journals and the IASB, hosted this online workshop where selected successful submissions that have strong potential to demonstrate research impact by contributing to public policy development and in particular the regulation of financial reporting were presented. There were more than 200 registrations for the event and delegates attended from across the world.

Beyond the academics who presented their work or acted as discussants, speakers included Yulia Fegina, Ana Simpson, Anne McGeachin, and Nick Anderson from the IASB.

The recording for this event that included thought-provoking and insightful presentations and discussions is now available on YouTube:
