Early career cryo-EM discussion group launches
Published: 4 May 2021
Graduate students from University of Glasgow launch a cryo-EM discussion group aimed at early-career researchers from across the SCMI consortium.
Éilís McClay and Abbie Guild, students in the group of Dr Laura Spagnolo, have organised a cryo-EM discussion group for early career researchers across the SCMI partner universities.
The sessions will take place on Zoom and the format is a 30 to 40 minute talk from an expert, and then a more open discussion where people are free to ask questions. It is open to the partner universities within the SCMI, and we want to create a group where early career researchers, and anyone new to cryoEM can come together to discuss and learn about fundamental topics in the field.
Sessions will run on Mondays at 2pm and are open to anyone interested in cryo-EM from;
- University of Edinburgh
- University of Dundee
- University of Glasgow
- University of St Andrews
